Returning to the Senses

Returning to the Senses
When the world turns quiet and gray, our attention can start to drift toward screens, thoughts, or the long list of what isn’t done yet.
Coming back to the senses is a way of remembering that we’re still here.
The warmth of a mug in your hands.
The sound of a kettle just before it whistles.
The cold of snow on your fingertips.
Each one brings us back to the body, back to the moment, back to life as it’s happening.
